Born in Vladivostok; got his education in Moscow (physics); currently working as web developer in New York City, NY (computers and dancing were always and still are important parts of his life); likes "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Dancing with the Stars", enjoys good music and good company. Alexei and Svetlana Kossovs has been partners for more than 22 years (the first and only). Even after they retired from professional competitive dancing they still enjoy performing together. After so many winning performances, competitions and shows all over the world, after years of being successful teachers, coaches, adjudicators and choreographers Svetlana and Alexei take pleasure in working with other professionals, such as Alissa Levin. They know how hard and yet how rewarding it can be, when their pupils grow from little cute novices to dedicated students, to well-formed, beautiful dancers, and, may be eventually - to teachers themselves. |
